What is a Computer Network?

                             

                                   A computer network is a connection of one or more computers located in the same room, buildings or at different places. For easy working. 

How Computer Network is helpful?

                                       

                                 In a computer network, computers or other devices are connected with each other, So, the user can share the information, data and peripheral devices, etc

Where computer networks are mostly used:

                                 

                                 The computer networks are mostly used in Offices, Hospitals, large Restaurants, Universities, and Hospitals, etc.

Types of Computer Networks:

           

                      There are three types of Computer Networks:

1. Local Area Network (LAN)
2. Metropolitan Area Network (MAN)
3. Wide Area Network ( WAN)

LAN:

      The full form of LAN is ( Local Area Network). This network is mostly used in small areas like schools, apartments, etc. In this network, Computers are connected with each other. A local Area Network is usually owned by one organization.

MAN:

       The full form of MAN is ( Metropolitan Area Network). A MAN is usually formed by the connection of different LANs. The MAN is larger than LAN. The MAN is usually used in the metropolitan area network.

WAN:

       The full form of WAN is( Wide Area Network). It connects different small networks to form a LAN. It is usually used privately. It is very difficult to maintain the WAN.
